Message from Leif -- Leif, 00:36:25 06/13/03 Fri [1]
Dear friends, fans and everyone who supported F8,
Well, it was an interesting trip to say the least. Never have I been involved in something that had so much love, hate, passion, jealousy, comradeship, fun and work rolled into one. On one hand I'm glad it's over and on the other I truly believe F8 could have gone on to bigger and better things if it wasn't for all the crap. What makes it worse is most of it came from within the
band.
But it's all in the past now, time to move forward. The last thing I have to say about the matter is in light of recent findings of which I was previously unaware and had absolutely nothing to do with. I apologize for any gross indiscretion or lewd behavior presented to you.
I am appalled. But again time to move forward. See you next time around.
Peace love and endless happiness to you all !!!
Leif

Molano, played by Leif Garrett. Molano meets his
demise and the Old Timer, Clay, finally fulfills
his dream. He stays to give Juanita the father
she never had and help raise his grandchild.

Leif's cover of "Smells
Like Teen Spirit" from the Melvin's just released "Crybaby" CD.
After years of being underground, Leif Garrett resurfaced on the scene January 10, 1999, when VH1 profiled him on the popular "Behind The Music". Leif's story has been one of the most popular on VH1. A surge of excitement on the internet rendered many new sites for the '70's teen-idol. His new band Godspeed has given Leif the opportunity to play the music he's always wanted to play -- Rock 'n Roll! Godspeed has been working on their new CD to be released in the near future (no specific date). Some popular songs they've recorded include a cover of LOLA by the Kinks and an original "Are You Satisfied".
In the last year, Godspeed has played various venues. In August 99, they played RHINO'S Retrofest in Santa Monica, with good reviews and many excited fans who flew to Santa Monica from across the country to see Leif and Godspeed perform. They've also played The Viper Room and The Galaxy Theatre in Los Angeles, and venues in Tempe, AZ, Santa Fe, NM.
September 24, 1999
Leif will be guest starring (as himself) on "Suddenly Susan", the NBC sitcom starring Brooke Shields. The show will be taped from October 18th - 22. Information on the air date will be provided later so keep checking this page for all the latest info.
July 31, 1999
Twenty two radio stations throughout the country have requested phone-in
interviews with Leif . Keep watching for more info as interviews are scheduled.
Leif will be in Tokyo, Japan the last week of September performing on Nippom TV's #1 Prime Time Special Program, "Ano Hito Wa Ima".
Because of conflicting time schedules, Leif had to turn down the September 25th "Starfest 99" sponsored by 101 CBS - KVSR, Fresno, CA.
July 14, 1999
Godspeed will be performing at the Retrofest in Santa Monica on Saturday, Aug.14, 99
May 16, 1999
Leif will be playing in a golf tournament in September to raise money for the Wellness Foundation.
Leif was seen at the House of images/common-to-all/blues on Thursday, May 13, 1999 at a birthday party for fellow "Art of A Bullet" actor Lee Dawson.
April 20, 1999
Godspeed will be on the Rosie O'Donnell show!
